Questions readers ask
Is this book for people who have never used an AI assistant?
Yes. It opens with your very first message and assumes nothing before that. If you have already been using Claude casually for a while, the value is in the second half — Projects, Artifacts, and Research — which is where most casual users have never been.
What is in the free Prompt Pack?
Fifty copy-paste prompts across the book's five everyday areas — writing, learning and studying, work and productivity, life admin and planning, and creativity — plus a prompt recipe card and a follow-up toolbox for steering an answer that came back not quite right.
Will the book go out of date when the model changes?
The parts tied to one interface will age, and we say so in the book. The parts that matter most — how to frame a request, how to follow up, when to start a new conversation, and what to check before you trust an answer — carry over to whatever the assistant is called next year.
Do I need a paid Claude plan to follow along?
No. The core chapters work on the free tier. A few features described later, including heavier use of Projects and Research, sit on the paid plans, and the book flags which is which rather than assuming you are paying.
